Elmo Tickle Hands
Elmo Tickle Hands brings us a new way to play with Elmo. These gloves give kids the chance to be just like Elmo. Not only will their hands look like Elmo’s but they will be able to tickle with them without even needing to move their fingers.
Pressing on any surface with Elmo Tickle Hands, will active the tickle power. This power makes the gloves vibrate to give an exciting tickling sensation. You will also hear Elmo laugh and the more you tickle, the more Elmo laughs.
A dance mode can be activated by pressing Elmo’s nose (on the glove). It features his new dance “The Tickle Hand Groove” is another feature. Start this mode; Elmo will ask “Can we have a little dance music please?” and the beats kicks in. Pressing his nose again will guide your child on how to do Elmo’s new dance. The gloves have sensors in them so they know if your hands are up or down and getting the moves right. When you move to the groove, in time with the beat, you’ll active that tickle power. Elmo’s will debut his new dance when the toy launches in August.
To make the toy even more interactive for children, a clapping sound made whenever the toy gloves are clapped together. On top of all that, a special DVD is included with the Elmo Tickle Hands package which will also help you to learn the new dance.
Elmo Tickle Hands have been designed as a reaction to the recession and a call for cheaper toys involving well known children’s characters. The new toy offers good value for money but will not replace last year’s pricier Elmo Live, since that is being replaced with Elmo Live Encore, which features the same animatronic system as last year’s model but includes new jokes and songs (including the Sesame Street theme songs).
Elmo Tickle Hands might not be as technically advanced as Elmo Live Encore but the fun factor is still really high and it’s a great alternative for Elmo fans that already own Elmo Live or don’t want to splash out that much cash.
Elmo Live was released to Celebrate 15 years since the launch of Tickle Me Elmo. This year’s anniversary has Elmo Tickle Hands celebrating 40 years of Sesame Street. That is quite an achievement for a children’s TV program, or for any TV program for that matter.
This toy is recommended for children of 18 months and over.
